MP-S Serial Interface

The MP-S Serial Interface is a 5 1/4-inch x 3 1/2-inch board, which interfaces a serial device to the Microprocessor system. It may be jumper configured to operate serially from 110 to 9600 baud and is RS 232C and 20 Ma TTY compatible. Complete interrupt control of the interface is under software control through the user’s program. All data input/output is made through a ten-pin connector installed along the top edge of the board.

This card may be used as the control interface in systems with the SWTBUG ROM. The MIKBUG ROM required the MP-C interface

Introduced by Southwest Technical Products Corporation in 1975. The MP-S kit cost $35.
