The one on the left is the one I restored by stripping the main board bare (read story here). I got it in April 2002 and restored it by March 2003. The one on the right was offered to me after I published my web page on restoring the first one. It was not functioning but I had a working model to help trouble shoot it. There were two bad ICs and a cut trace.
I wanted to make a case like the prototype in Radio Electronics.
